How could I not share this stunning Sunrise, it was taken on Wednesday morning and wow. Jacks bedroom is at the front of the house and it literally lit his room. It was so beautifully bright it looked as though the sky was on fire.
This time of year nature is just beautiful and this stunning sunrise was just a breathtaking example of how lucky we are. I could have sat and watched it for ages; in fact I did for quite some time. Contemplating life, how it changes, how we grow as people, and what a difference a year can make, in terms of friendships, outlooks and life plans.
Funny how a beautiful sky has the ability to make you reflect, but is it the sky? Or is it just having your eyes open to change, making the time to spend with your families before life passes you by, and having time to slow down once in a while.
Wow! There are so many stunning colours in here. What a great capture #mysundayphoto
Thanks Victoria, honestly it was breathtaking, almost mesmerising to see x
When I see pretty salmon skies like this it’s usually at sunset. Sunrise is something I usually sleep through, but they are ever so magical when you do see them. The world is so still and clean and new.
Thanks Stella and yes you are so right it is a rare treat to see such a gorgeous sun rise x
Beautiful. I love a good sunrise – even more so at this time of year when the sun rises a little later!
Ha ha yes I wouldn’t have a cat in hells chance of catching it mid summer. x
What a truly beautiful sky, you’re lucky to have had such an amazing view of it.
Thanks Fiona I know, living so high up has its benefits and the view is one of them x
You have captured the colours perfectly. I have been trying to capture the colours of the sunrises and sunsets, and it is beyond my phone, really need to take the real camera out. Gorgeous picture.

I think this has to be my favourite sunrise shot up to now. The sky is amazing and no wonder it made you have a few reflective moments looking at it. Its so beautiful nature x
Ah thank you Tracey, yes it was breathtaking, literally lit the sky x

Thanks Darren, I know me too. I just love sunsets x
Similar sentiments on my post today Sarah. I think as I get older and my family grows up, this ‘time to savour every moment ‘ becomes more important. I just know we don’t have much time left!
Off to have a read Suzzanne, yes its scary how quickly they are growing up and I want to be here to see it x
They are just beautiful photos! Such amazing colours x
