After 10 Miles, My Captured Moment

After 10 Miles; This weeks photo is one I am incredibly proud of, we all look a little bedraggled and tired, but we had just finished the London Bridges Challenge. My amazing family completed the 10 mile challenge which covered the 13 bridges between Chelsea and the Tower of London. (Door to door we actually walked 17 miles that day)

After 10 Miles

I will share more about it later as I have lots of photos, but I will say we were blessed with the most glorious weather. And apart from Joe being very worried about his leg falling of, a fear that lasted for about 5 bridges, and caused him to drag his leg along moaning for well over an hour, we had a wonderful day.

I feel so proud of the boys for achieving this and raising over £900, it just shows that these things don’t have to hold us back in life. They can actually inspire us to help others.

Wow, that’s incredible! A brilliant distance to work, but also a huge amount raised! No wonder you’re proud of your family.

Brilliant achievement, well done all. So while I was running in London, you were walking? We were both there at the same time, it seems. Diabetes best watch its back 😉

Joe sounds a lot like the Bug. Give him a football and he’d run to the ends of the earth, but going for a walk nearly kills him!

Wow Sarah I didn’t realise the distance you walked was SO huge. That is such a massive achievement for you all. Giggling at Joe as this is something my 9 year old daughter would do. I would have had to wear headphones to drown out the moaning from her. Well done on raising such an amazing amount for charity xxx
