My Weekly Round Up

My Word Of The Week

Today is my birthday, I am one of those people who have never ever grown out of birthdays. Some people become less bothered the older they get but not me, I love all the fuss and attention and lovely presents ha ha.

Out and About

Last week I took the boys down to London for the gaming show live, they had the most amazing day. I think gaming is something you are either into or not. I just don’t get the whole gaming concept so it all felt a little alien to me. But the boys met all their favourite You Tuber’s and got to play the new Fifa 16 so were in their element.

As part of my birthday celebrations we are of to Birmingham for the cruise show and then off to the beautiful Nottingham Belfry Q so I am mega excited about today and spending my birthday at a Q Hotels, as a family we all love visiting so much so it feels right to spend my birthday with them.

Family Life

The last two weeks have seen the boys return to school Jack has started his first GCSE year, I can’t believe how the years have flown, and that our not so little boy is starting his exams.

Joe’s week has been an exciting one, his school is so lucky as it was on the route of the Tour of Britain so on their first day back at school they got to stand and wave to all those inspiration sportsman as the tour traveled past school. He was so excited about it all and its great to see the boys excited about such a great British sport.

Next week is MADS weekend, I am so looking forward to getting together with some lovely blogging friends and spending an evening celebrating blogging.

This Week I Am Loving

I was sent this CamelBak drink cup to take to Florida and trust me it came in so handy. As it is insulated it was perfect for carry around the parks to keep hydrated. This week I have taken it to work as it is great to take to class and looks super stylish and keeps my water nice and cold. Its hard keeping hydrated at work and it’s so tempting to drink coffee all the time, I am on a mission to drink more water as I just do not drink enough.

Hope you had a fab birthday, darling. I’m not really in to birthdays but I’m very much in to buying myself gifts so it’s a wonderful excuse for that 😉 The Tour of Britain cycled past the end of my parents’ lane last weekend so we popped up to watch them. It was truly amazing x

Sarah how did I manage to miss your birthday…. Happy birthday lovely lady. I am so like you and totally embrace my birthday each year. Mine is in January when everyone else is miserable lol. My son would have been in his element too at the gaming show. Morgan is also starting his GCSE year as they start in year 9 at his school. They grow up way too fast. Have a good week x
