With Joe reaching 10 this week I thought I would share a few pics from his first birthday. Bless him he was teething and at times felt rotten but did so well entertaining all of his visitors.
I have spent quite a bit of time looking through photos as I have written this post, and it almost seems like another life ago.
It’s amazing how your life changes as your children grow, gone are the days of bottles, changing bags, weaning and teething. And now we embarking on broken voices accepting that our children are getting taller than us and looking at high schools and colleges and in the next few years will be embarking upon driving lessons arghhh.
But wow what a journey it has been so far, these wonderful boys just fit in with our lives from day one. We can take them anywhere and have experienced so much together. Mostly great and wonderful experiences, and those that were not so great such as Jack’s diagnosis, they both took it on the chin and treated it like and challenge and not a problem.
We are so proud of them and whom they are growing into; sometimes I forget they were small like this it all seems so long ago. And as our baby hits 10 I thank my lucky stars that they came into our lives.
