Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, And How I Found My Paradise

1st September 2015 by SarahJChristie 30 Comments

So I have often wondered what exactly paradise is like? How does it feel to be in the most beautiful, friendly, chilled out and luxurious environment? Well, after visiting Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa in the most stunning Turks and Caicos Islands I now know, and let me tell you it is amazing. Here is what I thought of Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, And How I Found My Paradise

Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, And How I Found My ParadiseI definitely found my paradise at Beaches Turks & Caicos. In fact I did not want to come home. One of my closest friends has been so many times; they just love it there. I used to think wow it looks amazing, but I just don’t get it, why go back to the same place year after year? But oh boy now I know why.

Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, And How I Found My Paradise

When we landed at Providenciales, which is a tiny island in the Northwest Caicos Islands, we were stunned by how tiny the airport was compared to the chaos of Miami or Heathrow. It was a breeze navigating through customs, to be immediately greeted by a welcoming friendly driver waiting for us with a bottle of ice-cold water.

Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa offer free transport to the resort from the airport, which makes the process so easy, it removes all the stress out of the Journey. Our driver was great and told us lots about the island, which made our 15-minute drive a really enjoyable and interesting journey.

Arriving in Beaches Turks & Caicos just takes your breath away, it is broken up into 4 villages and each village has its own beautiful style and a dedicated reception so there is no queueing at check in. We were offered a seat and offered a welcome cocktail, and completed check in right there from a comfy sofa. We were greeted by the lovely Mickey and escorted to our beautiful room with views over the gardens of the Caribbean village with the sea as a backdrop.

We immediately got ready and set off to explore and find something to eat. If I am honest at first I felt a little overwhelmed, Beaches Turks & Caicos feels huge and sprawling how would we ever find our way around in the 2 days we were there. However in no time at all we had found our bearings and discovered that actually, although it is huge it is also incredibly easy to navigate.

The staff are so wonderful, nothing is too much trouble, we were so hungry and headed to Neptunes but they had stopped serving food, so we asked where we could eat and explained we had just arrived and Jack needed to eat. We were told to sit down and enjoy a drink whilst the lovely lady made us steak sandwiches and fries. I mean OMG that is what I call great caring service. So we sat at the bar enjoying the friendly banter with the most entertaining warm bar staff and enjoyed a cocktail, with the sound of the waves in the background whilst we waited for our specially cooked meal.

While I am on the subject of food let me just say wow, there is an incredible 20 restaurants. The choice is just mind-blowing, and the food is delicious. We ate at the Bayside Restaurant, Giuseppe’s Italian and Bella Napoli, during our stay, every meal we ate was not only fantastic but made extra special by the wonderful Caribbean laid back but great service which enable us to enjoy a glass of wine and chat over a meal.

You see Florida was the total opposite, meals felt very fast paced, but had to be, there is always somewhere to be, a fast pass time to make.  We were so ready for long drawn out meals where we could chat and chill out and reflect of the incredible time we were having.

Now please don’t get confused between chilled service and poor service because the service was just impeccable. The staff who served us were just so friendly and attentive, and our glasses were constantly kept full, we did not need to ask for a refill once. We needed this time after a manic couple of weeks it was wonderful. And food that great, you just do not want to rush.

When it came to chill time not only was there the option of swimming in the stunning Caribbean sea, but there was also 6 pools and 2 kids pools to choose from with 5 wonderful swim up pool bars, just perfect for that hot afternoon sun. If you were staying longer you would have to visit a pool a day to get the full experience of each one, as each pool is different and so very beautiful.

Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, And How I Found My Paradise

So if you are wondering if you should travel to Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa for a spot of post Disney chill out time, then the answer is yes you should, it is the perfect end to a perfect holiday. The problem is now I need to go back, you see there are 16 restaurants I have not tried out.

Wow how did I get too 883 words, I have so much more to share, I want to tell you what Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa  is like from the Parent and Kids perspective because trust me we both had such different experiences, which played a huge part in why I fell in love with this gorgeous place.

Check out why it is also the perfect vacation for kids here.

Popped over from the Monday Escapes linky. Great to read about your experience. I’m due to go on a press trip next month to Beaches in Jamaica. If it’s anything like this resort, I’m in for a fabulous stay.

Certainly does look like paradise – being asked to sit down whilst the staff prepare you some dinner despite the restaurants being closed is such a nice example of somewhere going the extra mile and this is what luxury holidays are all about!
