My Weekly Round Up and New Beginnings

22nd August 2015 by SarahJChristie 19 Comments

Word of The Week

My word of the week is new beginnings. Yes, I know that is two words. But this week has seen me return to work and a new academic year. There have been lots of changes and everything feels so exciting and positive. I am loving the new buzz about the place it feels great. The end of term is an odd feeling as I always feed so sad to say goodbye to my students. Yet this time of year is filled with excitement and hope for the year ahead. I can feel this year is going to be a good one all round.

New Beginnings

Getting a Balance

We arrived home and Saturday and I was back at work on Monday. Fortunately we had a washer dryer in our beautiful suite at Disney so I was able to bring most of our clothes home clean. The jet lag has not been as bad as normal. Chris and the boys seem to have slipped right back in to they’re sleeping patterns But I have struggled a little and don’t seem to be able to get to sleep until 1am. But usually it takes me ages to get back to normal so this is not so bad.

Out and About

We spend last night at the very beautiful Aldwark Manor. This is a well overdue stay, as we had to cancel our last trip. I have been so excited about visiting as it looks such a beautiful hotel, with beautiful rooms, a spa, and a great pool in stunning surroundings And it did not disappoint we had such a fantastic stay. The Aldwark Manor and all of its team are pretty special. I can’t wait to share it with you.

Alwark 1This Week I Am Loving

My Black Spade nightwear, I took this cute little set to Disney, I knew I wanted a comfy but stylish pyjama set for those hot Florida evenings. I must say this is such a comfy set and the quality is great too. I chose the dusky pink, which I absolutely love.

topI am eagerly looking out for the new PJs range that will be arriving online at Patricia Eve soon. I am PJ mad, it is something for me that has to be stylish, pretty and comfy. As silly as it sounds, as I would never go out in them, it takes me ages to choose the right nightwear, and this little set has been a real winner for me.

Next Week I Would Like Too

We have some very special visitors coming next weekend. My oldest and one of my closest friends in the world, and her lovely family are coming to stay for the weekend. They always come to visit us in August it has become a tradition we all enjoy very much and look forward too. I am so excited to spend the weekend with our great friends.

Love your word of the week. I always feel more geared up and positive in September than I do on the 1st January. Love the fact you got most of your washing done whilst still in Disney. Aldwark Manor looks amazing. Can’t wait to read your review. Have a great week and weekend with your best friend x
