My Weekly Round Up, Adventure

1st August 2015 by SarahJChristie 6 Comments

Word Of The Week

It has to be adventure as we had a great weekend, nipping to London for a last-minute trip to see a movie and getting to spend time with my mum, dad and brother, and preparing for our big holiday adventure it is all so exciting and hopefully we will make some fantastic memories along the way.  This photo is not the clearest but I just love it so thought I would share it anyway.

Time For Me

On Tuesday I went out for dinner with one of my best friends, we had such a lovely evening just chatting and planning lots of exciting trips for this year and next. We laughed so much and enjoyed a great dinner and good wine. It’s so good to get out and meet up with friends isn’t it?

Fun At Home

We have had quite a chilled week at home, pottering and packing. To be honest I think after a hectic couple of months it has been time we all needed the boys have enjoyed chilling. Joe has spent ages playing with his PLAYMOBIL and Jack on his X Box. I am glad they have relaxed a little before next week.

My Happiest Moment

It was wonderful spending the weekend at my mum and dads. My brother also lives with them and we enjoyed chatting and looking through old family photographs, showing the boys photos from when my brothers and I were little. The boys love staying there and we also got to visit London for the day and watch a screening of Disney, Pixar’s Inside Out and catch up with some of our best friends Donna and Harry. And pay a cheeky visit to the M&M store which the boys just love.

This Week I Would Love Too

As this post goes live we will be in America woohoo we have an action packed  2 weeks  ahead including a very short trip to Miami, 11 incredible day at Walt Disney World and 2 days chilling at Beaches Resort and Spa, Turks and Caicos. I am so looking forward to the whole experience and keeping my little on-line holiday diary.

This Week I am Loving

A couple of weeks ago I was sent the brilliant PK2 it is a foldable lunch bag that can keep its contents cool for up to ten hours. It is so clever as the bags lining is filled with gel pouches that once placed in the freezer overnight freezer eradicating the need for ice blocks. I love the fact that there is no faffing you just freeze and fill and them once empty it folds up neatly making it easy to carry.

At the moment it is on offer instore  at Dunelm so I may get another, as this is just perfect for summer picnics in the park and trips to London on the train. It is also great for keeping Jacks insulin cold on long journeys; we need to keep it a constant temperature. The PK2 is big enough to be able to store all his travel medication and keep it nice a cool until we get to a fridge.

Sounds like you have had the best week of adventure and chilling out before Disney. Eek as I am writing this you will actually be there. Have an amazing time and Turks and Caicos sounds the perfect relaxation after the madness of Disney x
