The P20 Love Our Parks Campaign

Ahead of love our parks week P20 have been working with the lovely Jenni Falconer to encourage the public to enjoy the best of the UK’s parks but to stay sun safe at the same time, reminding everyone that it is vital to wear sun protection, even in the UK.

For me staying safe in the sun is a message that is so important to share, when I think back to my childhood sun cream just wasn’t a big thing, you only bought it to travel abroad. But oh my, how times have changed. We never go out in the sun without sun cream on, I always like to have a supply at home just in case I run out.

p20Protecting your children is so important isn’t it? But also educating them, giving them some ownership of their own long-term health, so they understand the dangers of going in the sun without sun protection.

The flower display was planted to start the kick off the P20 Love Our Parks campaign and to mark the longest day of the year, when we are likely to head out and enjoy the open spaces and fresh air that Britain’s parks have to offer. Whilst getting out and active is key to a healthy lifestyle it’s more important than ever to stay protected from the sun’s harmful rays.

We are such an active family that are always out somewhere, whether it be a park, country walk or city. And a big part of that is ensuring we are safe and protected. I love the fact that you only have to apply P20 once every 10 hours saves so much grief, I love the spray bottle, it is so simple to apply, especial with active boys its hard to keep them still long enough to apply. P20 spray resolves that problem making it a quick and easy process.

I also love the fact on a hot school day that they are protected all day, this used to really worry me. But now I can relax safe in the knowledge that they are protected on all their breaks during their day.

And whats more enjoyable than watching your children enjoy summer, and knowing you are doing your very best to keep them safe and well.

I have not heard of this campaign before but what a great way to teach our children about the effects of the sun. Having 2 red head children its factor 50 all the way for us, whether we are out and about in the UK or abroad xx

It is so important to wear sunscreen. I never leave the house without Littls Miss H and I both being covered. I burn so easily. I have never tried P20 but I have many friends who use it and rave about it. Hugs Mrs H xxxx
