Wooohooo 6 days till our big adventure, we are all so excited. I must say I have sat down several times to schedule posts for when we are away but it just didn’t feel right, my blog is a reflection of us and our lives. So I have decided that I am turning my blog into a diary for the duration of our hols.
We have been so excited and I want to savor every moment, so every day I am going to post a memory. Only a short one but the little things that if not recorded I may forget. I have so many post ideas for when I am home but it’s the little things I just don’t want to forget.
Yes, I am conscious that we are on holiday so will not be spending lots of time blogging; this will be my holiday diary for us to look back on and smile.
Word of The Week
This week it has to be adventure as we are having an action packed couple of weeks filled with mini adventures all rounded up by one big huge adventure. But you can find adventure in anything in life can’t you? I suppose be adventurous is about being open-minded and not putting barriers up and reasons not to have fun. You do not need money to have an adventure you just need a sense of fun and time.
And lets face it, it is so easy to get bogged down being busy but it is always important to make time to have fun and enjoy adventures.
Time For Me
Last week I travelled over to the lovely Karen’s for a girls night in, it was meant to be a blogging evening but after our lovely friend Julia lost her husband Roger so tragically last week, we decided that the night would all be about friendship and supporting each other. We had a lovely evening and I left feeling blessed to have such wonderful ladies in my life.
Sometimes in life you just have to sit back, reflect and realises how lucky you are and Julia’s families’ tragic news really puts life into perspective. My thoughts are with her Sam, Florence and their family at this terribly sad time.
Fun at Home
Blimey we haven’t been home this week, in fact the only time I have spent at home has been to unpack, wash and re pack. But that’s what holidays and adventures are all about. And now the boys are older it is so much easer to be spontaneous.
My Happiest Moment
This week we re visited the lovely Queens Hotel in Leeds it was the 2nd Q Hotel we visited and will always be special to us I am going to share what we got up to next week but I absolutely love the Queens and all the staff it has the warmest feeling, and the boys just love it there.
This Week I Would Love Too
This week we are off on another adventure, we got the opportunity to go to London for a screening of the new Disney Movie Inside Out. Yes, London is a long way, but do you know what? Life is for living so the boys and I decided surprise my parents and brother and pay them a visit and go see the movie.
And what better way to start our big Disney and Beaches Resorts adventure than with a Disney Movie. And then Friday its D-day woohoo we are off to Disney
