Those Little Travel Essentials

9th June 2015 by SarahJChristie 2 Comments

I have been sharing recently all my holiday squirreling, I literally spend all year storing clothes and toiletries for our holidays. I like to be super organised in the hope that we will always be ready to travel. Ha ha I know as if tomorrow we will get the opportunity to go on a fabulous last-minute holiday! Well, it might happen you never know and its better to be prepared with all those little travel essentials.

holiday 4It’s the little thing I always forget, the important little thing that I end up forgetting, or paying a small fortune for at the airport. So here is my little collection of must pack items that I just can’t do without.

Sun protection is something I always ensure I have a stock of, one of the brands we love is  P20, why? It lasts for 10 hours, is waterproof and comes in a spray so is easy to apply. The boys are always so busy and really begrudge having sun cream applied, spray makes it so much quicker and easier, and saves so many arguments.

Herpatch Cold Sore Prevention and Serum, I never ever travel without this, I only have to look at the sun and my lip start tingling, it is such a pain and something I have to be mega prepared for. Seriously cold sores are just the worse thing; they really get me down for me this is an absolute must the catch them early, and prevent them.

holiday pack 1
Migrastick, this is just fantastic I always have one in my handbag; it is a natural roll on oil that provides headache relief. I love it, it really does work. I always suffer a headache on the first day of my holidays, I put it down to the stress of coordinating all the travel and lack of coffee, and so for me Migrastic is perfect.

holiday 3Mosquitan mosquito patches, these are so clever. Little adhesive patches that you attach to furniture in your hotel room, they can repel mosquitos for up to 8 hours.

Rajeunir face and lip serum, perfect for replacing the lost moisture from spending time in the sun. This feels so great on your skin, and for me is a real must so rehydrated my skin.

Halo wipes, these are just great when traveling with a family, a little travel pack containing face and make-up removing, antibacterial, deodorant wipes they really have most bases covered and so easy to pop in your bag they are fab.

This little bag is ready to go, ready to travel. I like to ensure I always keep our travel bag ready stocked just in case, but it’s also one less thing to worry about when packing for our Holidays.

Really great guide and list – I haven’t travelled in ages that I have forgotten what you need! What a handy bag and perfect for suitcases and luggage! Jess x 🙂
