Beach Essentials For Kids

With only a month to go until our holiday I am trying to get all my packing organised, it is so hard remembering every little bit isn’t it? I think the fact that we have several components to our holiday theme park, pool, water parks and beach. I have found some great each essentials for this year, things that should make our holiday so much easier.

I am so conscious that I have to take precautions to keep the boy’s safe and well on holiday. I know there are certain things I have to prepare for; Joe getting water in his eyes, he gets so stressed. Jack getting water in his ears, he is always in the water but then gets earache. Both of them getting bitten, and Joe getting burnt he is so fair-skinned.

So when I found all the products to answer my holiday dilemmas I was thrilled.

swim 3I will start with the Zap-It, I must say when I received this I was a little surprise, it is a mini electric shock device. I know shock horror how can any parent give their children a shock no matter how small. So I did what any parent would do, I tested it on hubby, I knew it wouldn’t take long for Chris to get bit; he is like a mosquito magnet.

So when he did I was ready with the Zap-it. And do you know what it worked; it took the redness down and stopped the itching. Chris really suffers with bites so I couldn’t believe it worked. I have since tried it on the boys and it is so fab just stops redness and itching almost immediately.

The Aqua Sphere goggles are just fantastic, they are wraparound to provide panoramic vision, perfect for Joe as he doesn’t take his goggles off on holiday at least he can see where he is going now, and they look super cool on. In fact I have had to hide them in the holiday case. He loves them that much he was wearing them in the bath.

pool pinJacks issue has always been water in his ears, to be honest it put me on pins on holiday, the amount of times we have had to see a doctor due to his ears. SwimSeal are eardrops that protect the ear canal from excess water thus preventing earache caused from swimming, so perfect if you have sensitive ears.

And last but not least, to keep Joe super stylish Platypus Swimwear. Joe chose this set himself. I am lucky he loves rash vests and feels cool in this outfit. I must say it looks great and I love the fact that I am not going to be so stressed over him burning his back, his arms and legs are much more resistant to the sun so as long as I keep on top of it with sun cream he should not burn at all.

All Platypus’s products have an UPF50+ rating which blocks out more than 97.5% of UVA, UVB and UVC of the sun’s harmful rays and is approved by Melanoma International Foundation so kids can be a safe in the sun. These are just perfect for that hot Florida and Caribbean sun.

These all look brilliant and it is so exciting that you are beginning to get organised for your amazing holiday. I like the idea of the Zap-it. I always get attacked by the Mosquitos. If this device takes away the redness and itching then it sounds perfect. Hugs Mrs H xxxx
