Happy Days, A Little Look at Last Week

Here we are, week 3 and I can’t believe it is February already. It’s been another great week. Quieter than the last few weeks, but to be honest it’s all been so exciting this year that we needed a rest.

Out and About

We haven’t been out and about as a family this week; I have still enjoyed my daily walks with Toby. That is our time and I look forward to it every day. 20 minutes to clear my head and walk in the countryside, enjoying the stunning views.

It was Chris’s birthday this week so Joe and I made him a lovely birthday tea. It was nice to cook with a little help from Joe. I didn’t take any photo’s as we were all so chilled and enjoying our meal.

Time for Me

A weird one as its work related but my lovely friend Suzie and I took our students to Coronation Street this week. They were so excited and loved every minute. I am not a soap fan but really enjoyed the tour. It felt a little surreal walking down the cobbles of the street. I used to watch Corrie way back before kids when I had time to watch soaps. It was like walking down a street I walk down every day, a very weird feeling. We finished our trip by visiting Artisan for a spot of lunch. My students loved it and it was great to chill and chat with them over our meals. They are all great girls and it was a lovely afternoon.

All sat together enjoying Chris’s Birthday Tea. We eat together at the breakfast bar ever night. But tonight was lovely as the boys just love birthdays, and Joe felt so proud of himself having contributed.

Next Week I would Like Too…

Oooh so exciting, it has come to the time where we can start booking all our Disney Restaurants for our upcoming trip to Orlando. You have no idea how excited I am about Disney. I am a total Disney geek, I love it, love it, love it. By the end of this week I should have all of our restaurants booked. The photo below is one I took of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at Disney Land Paris, I can’t wait to get a similar one of Cinderella’s Castle eeek.

This is such a lovely post full of lots of happy moments. Sometimes I think the sign that we’re enjoying ourselves is when we forget to take pictures. ๐Ÿ™‚
