Eeek I Have Started To collect My Holiday Swimwear

17th February 2015 by SarahJChristie 8 Comments

One of my favourite parts of going on holiday is collecting together our holiday wardrobes, so when I got the chance to try this David bikini and Iconique beach trousers, I jumped at the chance. You see it can take me ages to choose holiday swimwear; in fact Chris will not go swimwear shopping with me as I find fault in everything I see.

I loved this David Bikini immediately, I love the fact that is has a slightly higher waistband, so much more flattering.  And  the design as although they are black and white, which I wouldn’t usually go for are a little different, and look so stylish.

The Iconique trousers although not something I would normally buy, appealed to me as I am aware the Saratoga Springs complex, in which we are staying in Disney is huge with lots of pools, so I wanted something I would feel happy to walk about in, yet was lightweight and easy to fold and put in my bag,  that wouldn’t crease and look like a dish cloth after. (There is nothing worse is there?)

I wasn’t at all disappointed when they arrived; in fact I am thrilled with them. I love the fit of the Bikini, the bottoms fit so nicley and are really flattering, whilst the top gives shape and support yet feels comfortable, it looks great on and most importantly I felt confident in it. For me that is half the battle when I am wearing swimwear.

The trousers are gorgeous, they are so flattering; I knew they would be lovely but they far exceeded what I expected. They have a front flat waist panel that fits over the bikini perfectly and instantly flatters your shape.

I can’t wait to take these to Orlando, and am looking forward to many hot Florida days around the pool in them. It’s is great to choose something a little different, and something that looks great on and gives me confidence, that is a huge thing when walking around a pool in a bikini isn’t it?

This post was created in collaboration with David Swimwear and Iconique. For stockists of these gorgeous ranges visit Patricia-eve.co.uk
