The Year Ahead, So Much To Look Forward To

Well I have spent time looking back, reflecting and celebrating the year gone by. I have set myself a few little goals, ones that I hope to meet. So now I am sharing what I have to look forward to this year. All those lovely blogging opportunities, memories we can create together as a family.

Any one who knows me know I am mad about traveling; as a result I am always planning and researching our next break. This year is no exception. So here is a little look at some of the plans we have for the year ahead.

v2.i106647.w270.h203.x67C63582Our Q Journey, we are all so excited about this, we have 20 hotels to visit this year as part of our ambassadorship. This will take us all over the country; we have lots of plans whilst staying a Q Hotels. A day at the races,  (Joe is a budding jockey) a day on the River Avon, and a driving lesson for Jack to name a few.

One wish I have got is to have a Hotel Room slumber party. I want to watch a movie, get room service and chill, just like on home alone.  Its something I have always wanted to do, but when you re in a hotel you usually have somewhere to go don’t you? I am hoping we can plan a Q Visit and have a Christie Family chill evening.

England is the most beautiful country and our Q Journey is going to help us to explore some exciting towns and cities.

We will also be visiting Orlando and Miami this year, this is a trip I have been planning for a few years. We have tried to take the boys at intervals throughout their lives. Orlando has something to offer all ages, enjoying the characters and baby rides when they were younger, and then on our next visit getting a little braver for bigger rides. This time will be so different to our previous visits, and I can’t wait. We have so many exciting things planned, and I still have lots to plan and organise.

I have booked every aspect of the holiday myself, it has been a lot of work and I have spent a lot of time researching to get it just right. So I really hope I do get it right, because the buck stops with me. But like I say I still have a lot to plan.

I would like to plan a trip to Essex to see my family and our friends there, and a day or two in London. A place we never get bored with as a family. Every time we visit London we experience something new and exciting. There’s always something new to see.

We have a few trips to CenteIMG_5100r Parcs booked. For the first time in years we have booked a lodge to share with friends for one of our visits. This is going to be an experience as we usually get our own lodges next door to each other, I am looking forward to this new, but I am guessing mad adventure. Plus we have a trip planned soon. We are visiting with good friends who we don’t get to see much, I cant wait to catch up. During the visit we have booked the Ariel Adventure, I am really looking forward to zip wiring across as river eeek.

I intend to be involved in a Diabetes UK fundraiser this year, raising funds for this amazing charity is so important, and one that is close to my heart. Diabetes UK is such a supportive organisation. Last year they did a London Bridge challenge, I am going to keep my eyes peeled for that and hopefully myself and another blogging Mum are going to take the challenge. I am so lucky to have a teen who copes with Diabetes so well, not all teens cope like this so I hope to continue writing about Jacks diabetes journey to inspire and help others.

BritMums, so far I only have BritMums Live booked in terms of blog conferences. I am confident I will do many others this year. I attended 3 last year, and loved every singblogger-image-840792378le one. However BritMums was my first ever conference and felt so special. I can’t wait until June, until my second BritMums, I was so overwhelmed and star stuck last year seeing all my favourite bloggers in the flesh. I can’t wait till this year, now I know what coming, its all the more exciting.

With this little lot, this year is going to fly past. And we will be constantly saving for our next adventure ha ha. It will be a pleasure to live these moments and make new memories with Chris and the Boys. I can’t believe how quick they are growing up. I have enjoyed every age and stage they have gone through. But still I look back sometimes and think wow where did the time go, how did they grow up so quick.
