I felt a little nervous when the lovely Kat from Beau Twins tagged me in what’s in my handbag, why? Well, my bag is a little like a bin a times. I am not one of those people that lovingly tidy my bag. It really is a reflection of my life, chaotic.
1. I will start with my bag; it is a Mulberry Mitzy Hobo. I love it, its huge. A bit like a tardis and fits loads in. I have had it for a couple of years now so am ready for a new one hint hint Chris. In fact I have fallen in love with the new Kensington in Camomile its perfect for spring and summer.
I have broken the contents into sections;
2. I will start with my for me section. I always carry lip-gloss; in fact I have a little addiction when it come to lip-gloss. Chris goes mad whenever we fly because I am always stuffing lots of lip-gloss and balm from the bottom of my bag into one of those plastic bags just before security. I always forget so have to do it at the last minute. The funny thing is I rarely wear it, I always out it on in the morning or if I go out with the girls but that’s it. But I like to know they are there just in case.
My butterfly hair clip, I love this clip it is so pretty. I take it almost everywhere in case I want to put my hair up. Do you know the first thing I do when I get home at night it put my hair up.
My Swarovski Crystal pen. I student bought this for me last year to remember her by. I still can’t get over the fact that she took the time to find something I would really love and something so indulgent. I just love it it’s so pretty and sparkly. Living in a house of boys I love little things like this just for me. And the great thing is I know they will NEVER use it.
3. The next section is essentials, I never go anywhere without headache tablets. I sometimes get terrible headaches. They haven’t been so bad lately, but I like to always be prepared. Also germolene and plasters, you always have to have a supply of these when out in public with Joe, he is so so accident-prone. We really could do with wrapping him in bubble wrap. He has no fear or sense of danger.
I am obsessed with bad breath it is a real fear of mine. You will never find me without a stash of mints in my possession. And I hate broken nails they make me cringe, so I never go out without a nail file.
The tape measure was a gift from my lovely friend Jenna from Tiny Footsteps. I always like to have one on me; you just never know what you may need to measure. The pencil and padlock belong to Joe. He always likes to have a pencil on him in case he wants to draw, or write a story, and god only know what the padlock is for but hey that’s life with Joe.
The key is a disabled toilet key; it works in all disabled toilets in shopping centers in the UK. We have this for if Jack ever wants to do an injection if we are out shopping. I am dead against him doing his injections in toilets. But he just isn’t comfortable doing it at a table in a restaurant, and we have to support hi, it’s his decision. At least in a disabled toilet I feel he is safe, and it is private. And at places like the Trafford Centre they are spotlessly clean.
4. Lastly practical things, my purse this is a Mulberry Continental, it was a gift from Chris, and I love it. My camera, this is a great little camera; it has a wrap around cover to protect it in the darkest corners of my bag. My lovely paper chase umbrella is a gift from my wonderful friend Ruth. And Lastly my sunglasses, I have such sensitive eyes, I cant stand bright sunlight so always have them on me. In fact one of my blogging friends pointed out that I also have sunglasses on in most of my photos. These ones are from Tiffany and I love them. I have a real thing for sunglasses.
So that is my chaos in a bag. But I am always prepared for minor accidents, broken nails, headaches and if you ever need to measure anything or need a lock I am your girl.
I would like to tag my lovely friend Rachel, to share with us; whats in her bag?
