My lovely friends Jenna and Kate are running a happy days linky, so I have decided to join in. Why? because I loved doing 100 Happy Days last year on my blog, it will always make me smile, it was part of the start of my blogging journey back in February.
Happy days are a round-up of things that have made me happy in the past week, I love, love, love it. I am all for celebrating the great and simple moments in life; so here we go. I am going to write about the last 2 weeks, just because it has all blended into one and been great.
Out and about; This one is so easy, it has to be Center Parcs, we look forward to this every year. The chance to be outside, no cars on the road, family, time, family walks. I just love every minute of it, we have created so many special memories at Center Parcs.
Fun at home; It has to be Christmas Eve. I know everything is going to change next year with the boys growing up, so this year I have made the most of Christmas. We have loved getting messages from Peter the Elf, preparing for Santa, decorating the tree as a family, chilling and having family time, watching movies together and going for walks. Its been a wonderful Christmas.
Chris’s Mum and Dad came for Christmas dinner and we had a great time making balloon animals and playing jelly bean party games.
Time for me; My lovely friend Ruth and I had a lovely Girls afternoon tea at the Garden Kitchen. A great opportunity to chat. In fact over a bottle of wine we planned acting and modelling careers for our pets. Ha ha I bet you think I am mad, but I do believe Toby could have a promising career in acting and modelling with his scruffy rugged good looks and great manners. And Ruth is in the process of training Edward the kitten.
My happiest moment; There has been so many, its been a wonderful 2 weeks. But it has to be Christmas morning, my lovely little family opening their christmas gifts in front of a roaring fire.
Next week I would like to try; I am back at work next week, I need to get back into a routine. Start eating healthy again, I have had 2 weeks off, but am ready to get back to a healthy routine. Try to plan ahead for my blog, I need a bank of blog posts waiting in the sideline. And need to start scheduling ahead for the holidays.
I also need to find Joe some swimming lessons. He used to a be a fab swimmer and swam every week from being 12 weeks old up until 6 then lost his confidence. He is not frightened of water but hates swimming if that makes sense, as a result he has forgotten how to swim properly, I am going to get him some refresher lessons to get his skills back to where they used to be.
So there it is my first week of Happy Days is over, I am already looking forward to next week. Sometimes the little things are the special things aren’t they?
