Aveeno, Perfect For Sensitive Skin.

4th December 2014 by SarahJChristie 3 Comments

A couple of weeks ago I was sent some of the Aveeno range, by the lovely people at Aveeno. It was a welcome gift, as I don’t know about you? But my skin feels so dry in the winter. I had images of long baths in the bath oil rehydrating my skin.

But then my friend Jennie was suddenly called away from work one day, her beautiful baby Toby had been rushed into to hospital with severe inflammation of the skin. Poor Toby was really in the wars, all his skin had blistered and as you can imagine Jennie and Andy were beside themselves with worry.

aveeno-pump-270x270After lots of tests it was decided that Toby was suffering with Eczema and was sent home. As I had used the Aveeno cream before I knew it would be great for Toby’s skin so I gave it to Jennie to try on Toby hoping it would help improve his delicate skin.

Thankfully my boys have grown out it, but they both suffered from eczema as babies, so I knew as a Mum Jennie would be willing to try anything that would help Toby’s condition.

Jennie tried out the Aveeno Cream, Bath & Shower Oil and Lotion. After 4 weeks it has really helped Toby’s skin. Jennie loved the lotion, she felt in soaked in very well. She also loved the fact that it helped his chin where he dribbled and didn’t sting.

She loved the bath oil and again it was great on Toby’s skin. Jennie said if she had to find one criticism, it was that it didn’t really smell. But I suppose it is the lack of fragrance that makes Aveeno so natural and kind. Jennie top tip was to use  the lotion on the scalp as it is great for cradle cap.

Toby liked the Ellie and Eddie book; of course he is too young to understand but liked the colours and pictures.

In all Jennie loved the Aveeno range and said it had really helped Toby’s skin at a time when it was at its worse. It’s nice to know that Aveeno helped Toby, and Jennie has found a product she trusts. There is nothing worse as a Mum, not being able to help you little one when they are in discomfort.

Take a trip over to Aveeno’s facebook page where they are offering a free sample of this fab product. . And click here for more info on Aveeno and a free downloadable children’s book.

You’re such a lovely, selfless person – for passing on your gifts to your friend’s little boy. Glad he’s now feeling better. Must check out this range, it sounds really nice.
