Soft Chewy Choc Chip Cookies

I Came across this recipe yesterday on All Recipes, It looked so quick and easy I though I would give it a try.I have never made cookies before and the boys love them.

Soft Chewy Choc chip Cookies

You Will Need

  • 125g caster sugar
  • 100g light brown sugar
  • 125g soft butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 225g self raising flour
  • 100g chocolate chips

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Grease a baking tray.
  2. Cream the sugars and the butter until pale and smooth. Beat in the egg, but don’t over-mix as it may curdle the mixture. Add the flour and the chocolate chips to the mixture. Put balls of mixture onto the prepared baking tray and flatten.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes(I left mine in the over for 12) and then leave on cooling rack.
I can’t believe how easy this recipe is and they taste delicious. I will definitely make these again.
