I Came across this recipe yesterday on All Recipes, It looked so quick and easy I though I would give it a try.I have never made cookies before and the boys love them.
You Will Need
125g caster sugar
100g light brown sugar
125g soft butter
1 egg, beaten
225g self raising flour
100g chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Grease a baking tray.
Cream the sugars and the butter until pale and smooth. Beat in the egg, but don’t over-mix as it may curdle the mixture. Add the flour and the chocolate chips to the mixture. Put balls of mixture onto the prepared baking tray and flatten.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes(I left mine in the over for 12) and then leave on cooling rack.
I can’t believe how easy this recipe is and they taste delicious. I will definitely make these again.
