My Sunday Photo, Loving London

Share

I am sharing one pic today, I took this in London on Wednesday as we wandered through the city. There is nothing like meandering through an amazing city. And London is my fave. So many people take it for granted. I think because we have moved away from Essex where London was so accessible I appreciate visiting even more when I visit.

Pre children we used to spend many a Sunday people watching in Covent Garden, and I miss that so much. However, I am so lucky to get to visit almost every month thus having the best of both worlds.

    • I don’t think it is all of them Fiona, but what a great idea it is if you are traveling from outside the UK and charges are high x

    • ha ha its a changing world, there are still some working phone boxes I am sure. Why dont you get a UK sim card for your phone that would be the cheapest way to do it x

  2. I think your photo shows how times have changed! WiFi from a phone box! Wouldn’t have happened in the olden days! People watching in Covent Garden….I remember being able to do such things as well.

    • I know it really does, but great to see. Ah yes I miss those leisurely days although I have to say with the boys getting older, I do get to enjoy more of those days now x

  3. Fab photo! It’s great that you still get to visit London regularly, even though you live a long way away. I probably get there once or twice a year and I always enjoy just seeing the sights, which are so different from home.

  4. “When a man is tired of London he is tired of life” Samuel Johnson got it spot on though he should have said “person”! London never ceases to amaze, inspire and delight and I love your little capture so perfectly representing old and new London.
