London And Blending The New And Old

Share

Today I am sharing a few shots from my trip London. Every-time I visit I see something in a new light.

And this time I was marvelling at the way new and old blends so beautifully. All the reflections and shadows the building throw, blended with gorgeous old buildings that would have many a tale to tell.

  1. I always love walking among London’s new buildings – such a fantastic contrast with the old. The view looking back from Tower Bridge is my favourite as you can see the city’s most modern additions set against St Paul’s.But I always love the way you can be walking around the City and the Shard or the Walkie Talkie will suddenly pop out from behind buildings or between streets.

  3. I love London and have deep roots there. My ancestors lived in the City of London. There is a medieval church, St Olaves in Hart Street, with skulls over the doorway! Very spooky but I love how it is in the shadow of the Gherkin.
