Organising My Life With Pirongs Unique Planners

I can’t and won’t apologise for being a planner geek, I have always been this way.

Stationery has always brightened my days. For as long as I can remember I have been unable to resist a pretty notepad and beautiful pens. I remember every Christmas I used to get a diary and address book set as a gift. It was usually red velvet. All kids of the 70s had one of those right? Gosh I would have had a fit of excitement if I had seen a Pirongs Planner back then.

I have always kept a diary and ALWAYS needed a planner. I am one of those people who love arranging, so much so, I can arrange 3 events at the same time on any one day. It’s not that I don’t care, it’s that I want to do it all, get giddy then forget what I have booked.

Chris is constantly bailing me out and reshuffling diaries to keep everyone happy. The problem is I am rubbish with an online diary, I put stuff in it, but I never look at it. And if a diary alert comes up, I swipe it!

This year with the intention of getting myself organised, I bought a beautiful planner. Really, it was so pretty. But I never thought it through, not properly. You see, it gave me a whole inch square to plan each day of my life. Totally unpractical, so I used post-it notes and planned in my head. As a result I am all over the place. With post it notes everywhere!

  12. I don’t organise my life – that’s the problem. Couple that with my penchant for doing everything last minute and you get an idea of the chaos. Unfortunately my partner is the same.

  16. I have PTSD and anxiety issues and as a result of this my memory is absolutely dreadful and I find it hard to get out of the house and socialise. I book meeting my friends as an appointment as this makes it easier and I need a planner to sort out all the other things I tend to forget – shopping, appointments, things I would like to do….
