On Saturday I travelled to the home of my lovely friend and fellow blogger Karen, of Mini Travellers, to attend a Blog Mummy girls night in. Who would have thought this time last year that I would have not only loved my little space on the bloggersphere , but have built a new circle of friends.
Now don’t get me wrong I love the friends I have already they are all amazing. But this year I have met some truly wonderful ladies that have helped and supported me throughout my blogging journey. In my experience the blogging world is a friendly place. I was overwhelmed by how lovely everyone I have come across has been. But this group of ladies are amazing, and over time have turned into friends.
Sadly not all of us were able to make it for one reason or another, and ladies we really missed you all.
But here is a list of those that were able to make the journey to the lovely Karen’s.
The wonderful Jess from Mummy of Boy Girl Twins, Hayley from Hayley from Home, Julia from Rainbeaubelle, Katie from Mami 2 Five, Kate from What Katy Said, and last by no means least Katie from Life on Vista Street.
We had a wonderful evening, the great thing was that we all wanted to talk about blogging, one of my favourite subjects. But one I very quickly exhausting with all of my loved ones at home.
Its fab to meet a group of ladies that you gel with instantly and even though we are all so different we get on like a house on fire. So the evening was filled with lots of great food, good wine and laughter and lots of blogging talk and girly chat and before we realised it, it was 2am.
We were so lucky that some wonderful brands sent us goodies so we were able to create little gift bags. I would like to say a huge thank all of you, our gift bags were filled with some fantastic goodies, which contributed to a truly fantastic evening.
And a special thank you to Husky Retail who sent us the most beautiful Retro Fridge, it was so beautiful we all spent quite some time admiring it, it really was the perfect addition to a wonderful girls night in. In fact I have spied a lovely wine fridge on the Husky site that will perfectly in my kitchen, so watch this space. I need that wine fridge in my life.
Neal and Wolf, thank you for providing us with the most amazing styling products. It was great to be able to share my favourite product brand with my friends.
Nelsons, thank you for the bath oil and cooling gel. I can’t wait to run a relaxing bath and chill and it smells great.
Tan Organic Fake Tan, a streak free tan that fades gradually so is perfect for my pale skin. This is the perfect product for my summer preparation routine.
The 9 Bar, a perfect snack especially when you have a sporty family like mine.
Fragata Olives, these were so tasty, my favourite has to be the lemon olives, perfect for a girls night in and very well received.
Slumber down Luxury Embossed Pillows, I am testing these out at the moment, they are so comfy.
Tabasco sauce, this came in several flavours perfect for making cocktails, but I also love the BBQ flavour perfect for making one of my favourite dishes of Hunters Chicken.
Dead sea bath salts, perfect for a long luxurious bath.
Thank you Karen for opening your home to us, and it was amazing meeting the Mini Traveler Family. Thank you lovely ladies for the fantastic company, it really was the best evening, and although this was a social event I leant so much. And a huge thank you to all you wonderful brands for supporting our evening, and providing us with the perfect ingredients for a mummy bloggers night in. Everyone went away very happy with their fab goody bags. I can’t wait until next year.
